With over 60 years of existence, strong brand and digital transformation, Wehkamp has the right basis for profitable growth in this competitive market. Over the past years we have invested heavily in our digital/online skills, our warehousing & delivery capabilities and made a start with communicating our updated brand. In the coming period we will be shifting focus to balance this with the right assortment, the best price and the best deals for our Dutch customers to be the most inspiring, curated and relevant online department store in fashion & living. We are already one of the biggest online shops in The Netherlands and we really know our customers well. We know how they like to shop, what service they want and how we can help them to make their lives and shopping easier and fun.
What is the journey pursuing this North Star?
In the past two years, Wehkamp has transformed into a truly digital organization. We have an extraordinary customer experience with services that are unique in NL. Also our customers tell us they really like our shopping experience, because they can browse our website and app and really ‘discover’ what they like. To improve that shopping experience even more and to service our customers better, we are going to make our assortment more relevant. We will make sure we offer products that inspire our customers in both Fashion and Living, for the best price and offer them great deals. Our shop will feature the best imagery through beautiful photography of all products and surprise our customers with inspiring combinations.
What is your personal North Star?
My personal ambition is to create the conditions that make Wehkamp successful for the coming 60 years, and inspire and develop our team to support this journey and bring their personal best to work every day.
